The mainstream media in Japan has in effect created a media blackout surrounding the Occupy Movement in their own country.
As many as 60,000 people rallied in the streets of Tokyo at one particular protest. Protesters are outraged at the lack of coverage by the media as one of the main issues they are voicing anger over is the way in which the government has handled the Fukushima disaster.
